FAQ
Do you have to pay for the Nexus Letter upfront?
No, payment is not required upfront. When you submit your Nexus Letter order, we will review it to determine if the nexus is valid. If it is deemed invalid, you will not be billed. If the nexus is determined to be valid, you will be invoiced based on the Nexus Letter option you selected.
Can you diagnose me through a Nexus Letter?
No, a Nexus Letter cannot provide a diagnosis. It serves as a second medical opinion. The VA requests a formal review and analysis of a veteran’s compensation claim with sufficient medical evidence, literature, and reasoning. A Nexus Letter does not include a medical examination.
What is the turnaround time for a Nexus Letter?
Each Nexus Letter is tailored to the individual's unique situation. On average, it takes about one full day to complete a letter, as I am actively practicing in my local clinic.
Do you attempt to write a Nexus Letter for everyone who orders?
No. As a medical professional, my role is to review your medical records and provide an expert opinion on whether the nexus is valid. Unfortunately, sometimes it is not.
Do you guarantee my claim will be approved if I purchase your Nexus Letter services?
No, we cannot guarantee that your claim will be approved. Claims examiners consider many factors when reviewing your claim. They are human and sometimes do not award disability compensation even when the evidence clearly supports the veteran’s case.
Will you need to communicate with me during the review process?
Yes, we often have questions for veterans who order from us to ensure the Nexus Letter is accurate and helpful for your claim. We prefer to communicate via email. Please watch for emails from us to facilitate any necessary communication during the review process.
What information do I need to provide for a Nexus Letter?
To write a comprehensive Nexus Letter, we need detailed medical records, including service treatment records, any post-service medical records, and any previous VA decisions related to your claim. Providing complete and accurate information helps us create a stronger nexus statement.
How can a Nexus Letter improve my VA claim?
A well-crafted Nexus Letter can significantly strengthen your VA claim by clearly establishing a connection between your military service and your current medical condition. This medical opinion can provide the evidence needed to support your claim and potentially lead to a favorable decision.
Who writes the Nexus Letter?
Nexus Letters are written by licensed medical professionals with experience in evaluating veterans' claims. These professionals review your medical records and provide an expert opinion based on their findings.
What should I do if my claim is denied even with a Nexus Letter?
If your claim is denied despite having a Nexus Letter, you can appeal the decision. The Nexus Letter can be a critical piece of evidence in the appeals process, and we can provide additional support if needed.
Can I get a Nexus Letter for multiple conditions?
Yes, we can provide Nexus Letters for multiple conditions. Each condition will be evaluated separately, and a detailed medical opinion will be provided for each one.
